Titled "Double Vision: The Imaginary of the American Suburb," the talk will explore the ways in which the suburbs have provided an imaginative stage to expose hidden identities and conflicts in the American psyche through the lens of American writing and television. The lecture is sponsored by OSU's American studies and English departments.
