Yom Yerushalayim Day Event to Celebrate Reunified Jerusalem and Reflect on City's Significance

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Kehilath Jeshurun, 125 East 85th Street, New York, New York, and feature a keynote speech from Former Israeli Ambassador Danny Ayalon, the Rennert Visiting Professor of Foreign Policy Studies at YU.

The event will also feature an address by Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, rabbi emeritus of Kehilath Jeshurun and principal emeritus of Ramaz, titled, "What I Was Thinking on the Day Before and the Day After the Six Day War," as well as remarks from Rabbi Chaim Steinmetz, current leader of Kehilath Jeshurun. The evening will include a musical interlude by the Kol Ram Community Chorus, directed by Daniel Henkin and Cantor Meyer Davis.
The event is free and open to the public.
