This much-anticipated vacation served as a break from the long periods of isolation many experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing the survivors to gather in a fun and loving environment. Many survivors communicated that they were unable to enjoy group activities for more than two years and were so happy to be together. One survivor, Ms. Friedman, shared that she was "overjoyed" to be with her friends and noted, "Just look at everyone! We are still here! It's beautiful!"
