On February 5th, 2024, the Straus Center hosted renowned author Dr. Dara Horn for a lecture co-sponsored by the S. Daniel Abraham Honors Program.

Niranjan Kumar Kishore, left, and Tharun Prabhakar  won in the category of “College Student, Data Scientists or Comp Sci,” with Prabhakar completing his generative AI application just two minutes behind Kishore in the contest. Both were awarded $1,000.

On February 4th, 2024, the Straus Center hosted Ari Schulman, editor of The New Atlantis, for a wide-ranging conversation about his career in journalism and his philosophical perspectives on artificial intelligence technology.

For Modern Orthodox Jews, navigating finances in your 20s can be intimidating.

Dr. Waldman-Levi and Dr. Anita Bundy will use their PC-SCP guide in two upcoming AOTA workshops on “Assessing the Co-Occupation of Joint Play.” Both will focus on how clinicians can assess the shared involvement and engagement of parents and children in joint play.

Dr. Amiya Waldman-Levi, director of scholarship and research in the Katz School’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate, found that fathers play like their child’s play partner, sometimes acting silly or mischievous to make play more fun.

From December 2023 to January 2024, faculty, staff, and students at the Straus Center have contributed numerous articles in a variety of venues.
